Magicbox: Hi Daniel, we’re so glad you agreed to talk to us and tell us more about the experience you developed, The Fragment Room.

Daniel: It’s great to be here! We simply provide an outlet for stressed people in Singapore, a unique way to de-stress. But on top of that it’s a hell-of-a-lot of fun! So our services don’t just cater to the those who want to de-stress, anyone can try it out and I can say with confidence that 99% of our customers enjoy themselves thoroughly. At the end of the session, you’ll get all the cathartic relief you need from all the smashing, loads of fun trying a variety of different weapons to break different glass objects and electronics, and a good workout.

Magicbox: Wow! It sounds unique, what kind of people generally come to give it a try?

Daniel: All walks of life really. We’ve had seniors come in to try it out, or parents who bring their kids. Most common age group is about 25-35.

Magicbox: That’s a mixed bag of people, your experience clearly has very wide appeal. Why did you decide to develop this experience? What makes you passionate about this work?

Daniel: The concept of the fragment room was initially brought to life because there was a gap we thought we could fill in Singapore. People in Singapore, based purely on anecdotes, are very stressed out. The idea of being able to bridge that gap between a unique experience and improving the lives of our customers, even if it’s just for a few hours of relief, was very appealing. Plus, when we get really stressed out customers who come out feeling much better, it's a very rewarding feeling.

Magicbox: It sounds like you care a lot about helping people de-stress, that it’s a buzz for you. What is it you like about the Magicbox concept, why did you agree to get involved?

Daniel: A lot of people don’t know what to get for their loved ones on special occasions. Also it provides the most unique experiences that Singapore has to offer (like us!). It’s a gap that you fill out in the market.
